		Mokume Gane Pens These pens were all made with the Mokume Gane technique. (See the Resources Links page for links to lessons on how to do this technique) Basically, the technique involves using layers of tinted translucent clay and metal leaf. This sandwich of layers is then distorted and thin slices are cut from the top surface to reveal the pattern of colors and the leaf shining through.
